Borja Arteaga is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in Madrid.
He is responsible for advisory activities in Spain and Portugal. Prior to joining PJT, Mr. Arteaga was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone. Previously, Mr. Arteaga worked at Rothschild for fourteen years and co-headed the Spanish operations.
Prior to that, he worked at the M&A department of Goldman Sachs, at the private equity division of Santander in Latin America and at Netjuice, an internet investment company. He has worked on diverse private and public M&A, equity capital markets, restructuring and refinancing transactions for corporates and institutions across a range of sectors and countries including energy, consumer, retail, business services, healthcare, media, financial institutions, industry leisure and infrastructure and also led the coverage of financial sponsors.
Mr. Arteaga sits on the Boards of AmSudan, an African development non-profit organization, and Club Empresarial ICADE, an alumni association of the University. Mr. Arteaga has an MBA from INSEAD and a double major in business and law from ICADE-E3 in Madrid.
