Rob Friedsam is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in New York, having joined its predecessor company in 2014.
Prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Friedsam had a 23-year career at Morgan Stanley where he most recently served as Head of the North American Communications Group. Mr. Friedsam was also a member of the Firm’s Client Solutions Committee. Mr. Friedsam previously served as the Operations Officer for the Global Corporate Finance Department and prior to that served in the Global Industrials and Mergers and Acquisitions Groups where he advised clients across a range of industries. Over the course of his career, Mr. Friedsam has advised on over $500 billion of M&A transactions and has assisted clients in raising over $200 billion of capital. Mr. Friedsam’s extensive experience includes IPOs, follow-ons, secondary offerings, private placements, convertibles, bridge financings, investment grade financings, high yield and leveraged loans, securitizations and exchange and tender offers. Mr. Friedsam also has extensive derivative and risk management experience.
Mr. Friedsam received his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
