Senior Advisor
Scott Matlock is a Senior Advisor at PJT Partners, having previously served as a Partner.
Mr. Matlock spent 25 years in investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co., most recently as Chairman of International M&A overseeing the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practices in Europe and Asia. Mr. Matlock served as the Global Head of Media and Communications M&A from 2005 to 2008 and the Chairman of Asia M&A (including Australia, India and Japan) from 2008 through 2010. Mr. Matlock has worked on a broad range of public and private transactions, including cross border mergers in North America, Europe and Asia and hostile takeovers in the US, Canada, the UK and the Netherlands.
In addition to his M&A advisory experience, Mr. Matlock led initial public offerings and other capital markets transactions for clients across several industries.
During his investment banking career, Mr. Matlock has been based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Amsterdam. He is a citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom. Mr. Matlock received a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.
