Managing Director
David Ja is a Managing Director in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Mr. Ja has 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience and is focused on advising on mergers and acquisitions transactions, particularly in the in financial services sector. He also advises on complex corporate finance issues including structured instruments and corporate taxation. Prior to joining PJT Partners, Mr. Ja worked in the Strategy & Corporate Development Division at CIBC where he evaluated strategic acquisitions for CIBC and principal investment opportunities for the merchant banking portfolio. He also worked in the Investment Banking Division of CIBC covering natural resources and diversified industries.
Mr. Ja received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSE in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
