Martin Dewhurst is a Senior Advisor at PJT Partners.
Mr. Dewhurst spent 30 years with McKinsey where his primary focus was life sciences, covering global biopharma, medtech, genetics and consumer health. He led McKinsey’s life sciences practice for 7 years and most recently co-founded and led the McKinsey Health Institute, a non-profit entity focused on addressing some of the most fundamental health challenges. Mr. Dewhurst has written extensively and spoken at multiple conferences, including Bloomberg New Economy, Milken, FT, Economist, and Suzhou Innovation Conference, among others.
Mr. Dewhurst is an external partner to Lightrock, an early stage / growth impact investor; a board member to Distalmotion, a Swiss based, privately held medtech company focused on robotic surgery; and he chairs the external advisory board for Medgenome, an Indian based international genomics company.
Mr. Dewhurst completed an undergraduate at Magdalen College, Oxford and an MBA (Dean’s list) at INSEAD.
