Niraj Shah is a Partner in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Prior to joining PJT, Mr. Shah spent nearly his entire career at Citigroup, advising clients across a broad range of industries, with a primary focus on the Global Industrials sector. He joined Salomon Brothers in 1996 in high-grade debt capital markets before moving to the investment bank where he spent nearly a decade as a senior member of the Global Communications Group.
In 2009, Mr. Shah moved to the Global Industrials Group within Citigroup, where he has led client coverage across a range of industrial sectors, including electrical equipment, power generation, T&D, capital goods, heavy machinery and vehicle. In 2017, Mr. Shah relocated to London where he served as Co-Head of the EMEA Industrials franchise. In 2020, he moved back to the U.S. and was named Co-Head of North America Industrials.
Mr. Shah received his BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
