Managing Director
Thomas Higbie is a Managing Director in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Higbie has nearly 17 years of industry experience leading public and private investments across the capital structure, with a focus on distressed and special situations opportunities including rescue financings, DIP financings, rights offerings, exchange offers, and other restructuring and strategic liability management transactions. Prior to joining PJT Partners in 2023, he was a senior member of the investment team at Forest Road and CEO of its broker dealer subsidiary Forest Road Securities, where he led M&A, capital markets and restructuring transactions primarily in the media, entertainment, and digital assets sectors. Prior to Forest Road, Tom was a Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Opportunistic Credit at Onex Credit, a Managing Director at Solus Alternative Asset Management where he was responsible for the firm's financial services, industrials and transportation investments, and a research analyst in the Distressed Products Group at Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Higbie received a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 2006.
